Finding a woman worth spending the rest of your natural life with in the West is getting tougher with each passing day.
Sure, there are plenty of women looking to get married. Even some of the ex-social justice types are now starting to figure out that wanting a husband and kids isn’t actually the worst thing in the world.
But the same issue remains in that your choices are limited, with the best female partners getting snapped up early in the game. In the end you’re generally left with women who are past their prime, and/or are carrying a lot of relationship baggage with them.
So you have two choices:
- Keep doing what you’re doing, and with diminishing results
- Look elsewhere for a better solution to your singleness
We live in a time when Western morality has eroded to the point where it’s almost unrecognizable. A time where talking about getting married and raising a family is frowned upon.
And that’s exactly why more and more men are now looking overseas for a potential bride, with the Philippines being a very popular choice.
Western Women Vrs. Filipina Girls – The Feminist Factor
Why put up with a Western woman who stands a very good chance of making your life a misery when there are hundreds of Filipina women looking for a man just like you.
If you’re a Western guy you’ve been taught to feel guilty about wanting a woman that looks and acts like an actual woman. The politically correct culture that’s been infecting US colleges and universities is now leaking out into the wider world.
Men are being attacked for wanting anything from life other than keeping women happy. And that’s pretty much what you can expect from any Western girl that you wind up dating – a level of expectancy that beggars belief.
The fact is that radical feminism is literally killing love and romance in Western countries. You know things have gotten to their near-end game when you have websites publishing articles saying that being a male cuck (cuckold) in a relationship is actually a good thing.
Who wants to see another guy sleep with his wife or girlfriend? Seriously?
Let’s make this really simple: You have the right to be happy, and you have the right to find a woman to make you happy. And if she’s not American, European or Australian why should that matter to anyone?
So, one of the first things you need to do is let go of any weird “feminist” guilt you’ve been brainwashed into accepting as being reality.
It’s not. It’s just a whole bunch of crazy single female she-walruses trying to control you.
After all, what kind of human being would deny you the right to happiness?
What Does It Cost To Marry a Filipina?
Marrying a Filipina makes a lot of sense for a lot of men each year. In recent years more mail order bride to the United States, Canada, and Australia have been from the Philippines than from any other country.
There are a lot of reasons for this strong trend. One of the biggest is that Filipinas nearly all speak passable English.
The overwhelming majority of Filipinas are Christian, mostly Catholic, so they share many basic cultural assumptions with Westerners.
But the Philippines is also one of the cheapest countries to pursue a mail order bride from and that is very nice.
|Cost of marrying a Filipina? (excluding wedding)
|$40 per month x 6 months
|$800 per flight x 4 flights
|Romance Tour (optional)
|$2,000 (2 x 14 day stay)
|$1,700 (K1+ permanent residency)
Things You Need To Know About Dating a Filipina
The first thing on the list is that the Philippines is a predominantly Christian country. This means that traditional values are very important, but it also means that adultery and divorce are illegal.
So if the average Pinay is caught in a negative relationship with a Filipino guy, then there’s no easy way for her to escape from that.
Most Filipinas have been treated like crap by pretty much every Filipino guy she’s ever met, including domestic violence and having to deal with substance abuse issues with her partner.
This is exactly why she’s as eager to meet a Western guy as you are to meet a nice Filipina. Having a family and kids is very important to 99% of Filipinas, and if she can’t find a suitable husband in her home country then she’ll look overseas, just like tens of thousands of women before her.
She’s probably also lost track how many “pics” she’s been sent by sleazy Western pervs. Yes, there are gold diggers in the Philippines, but there are just as many Western guys looking for cheap thrills online.
Addressing Family Concerns
One of the first social hurdles you will have to deal with is answering questions your family will have about your plans to meet, date and marry a Filipina.
This is because they’ve heard and seen the mainstream media spew out one negative news story after another about immigrant brides being nothing more than gold diggers.
Always remember that your family has your best interests at heart, so don’t argue with them about this. Instead show them that you’re taking a methodical and logical approach to finding the woman of your dreams. In your case she just happens to be from a different country.
How is that so different to you meeting some girl in Cancun while you were on Spring Break? Or, for the British guys reading this, how different is it from meeting a girl during your Gap Year backpacking around Europe?
Be smart and diplomatic when discussing the subject of mail order brides with your family and friends. Being defensive or angry won’t achieve anything.
There’s a stereotypical image of Pinays as being petite, slim, feminine, with long dark hair, dark eyes and quite shy. That’s not just a stereotype, it’s a fact with at least 90% of the women here.
The Philippines is a country that can’t afford to have an obesity epidemic simply because 70% of the population live on or below the poverty line. There are very few “fat positive” chicks here because poor people can’t afford to be fat.
Filipina women would also never dream of allowing themselves to become morbidly obese simply because they’re too lazy to get regular exercise and eat a healthy diet.
Yes, women here will date older guys, and not because they feel they’re “easier” to get married to. In fact, it’s because older guys are seen as being far more stable and reliable than younger men.
No, they won’t marry the first Western guy that asks them to, they’re not doormats and they’re not desperate. Actually, if a Filipina brings up the topic of a quick marriage in early emails or Skype chats then you need to run in the opposite direction.
You might be worried that you need to be wealthy, or have chiseled abs, to find girls for marriage in the Philippines. Not true. Yes, she does expect and enjoy masculine men, but she won’t have anything like the same expectations that Western women have.
A Pinay will never make you feel ashamed for looking and acting like a man.
She’s exotic to your eyes, but you’re exotic in her eyes – tall, broad shouldered and not a raging alcoholic or womanizer are things she wants in her future husband.
So, what do Filipinas expect from their Western boyfriend, and future fiancé?
She expects you to treat her well, but that doesn’t mean showering her with gifts, cash and your undivided attention 24/7. One of the key reasons she wants to meet a foreign man is to enjoy a better standard of living. That’s both for herself and the children you’ll have together.
Pinays have no time for Beta males, so unless you’re comfortable in your own skin, and enjoy being masculine, she probably won’t have a lot of time for you. She expects to be the woman in the relationship, and for you to be the man. It’s that simple.
She’ll expect that you want to have kids, and if you don’t then you need to let her know straight away. Some Filipinas will be okay with this life choice, but very few of them will understand it.
Traditional values are very important to her – you’re not going to find very many liberally minded Filipinas in the country. This is a good thing.
If you’re a millionaire that’s a plus, but she won’t care as long as there’s food on the table, a roof over your collective heads, you’re a good man and that you don’t cheat on her.
It’s A Trap! Philippines Dating Scams
You’ve heard all about the guys getting scammed by Pinay women, but that’s the exception rather than the rule.
No, really it is.
Websites and newspapers that print negative stories are guaranteed to get lots of traffic. The reason for this is that people love to read “bad” news, and 99% of the news you read about “mail order brides” is so negative it’s nothing short of racist clickbait.
But most human beings are generally decent. They’re not out to scam or hurt anyone. In fact, most of you are just obeying your most primitive urge – to find a mate to have children with. Humans are tribal creatures, so we’re not made to exist in a vacuum of loneliness.
That means there have to be just as many, if not many more, success stories around Filipino brides as there are horror stories.
The men who get scammed are usually guys who’ve done something dumb like sent money or other luxury goods to a woman he’s never met. Or he’s gotten naked on Skype with her during their first few online dates.
Or something else that you wouldn’t do on a normal date unless you want to meet your average female sociopath.
It’s also worth remembering that the tens of thousands of genuine Filipinas are taking a risk talking to you online. They have to invest just as much time in getting to know you as you do getting to know them.
Plus, there’s never any risk of you getting pregnant and being dumped by some Pinay who ghosts you afterwards. Filipinas have heard just as many horror stories about Western guys as you have about mail order bride scams.
They don’t just want your money.
There are many more gold diggers in Western countries than in there are in the Philippines. That gold digging mentality comes from Western women being raised to expect that men are basically their servants and an ATM on two legs. And if it doesn’t work out then no biggie – they just get 50% of his stuff in a divorce.
Low Maintenance Lifestyle
Imagine what it will be like to date, marry and love a woman who appreciates simple abundance. A woman who doesn’t think that running up $30,000 in credit card debt is a good idea because of her “feels” and the need to buy crap she’ll never wear, never use, and never really wanted in the first place.
Western women are becoming more self-entitled with each new generation. This is in part due to third wave feminists, but you can also blame social media and TV shows for giving them ludicrously unrealistic expectations of what their life should be like.
You’re meant to provide for them, without question, but never ask for anything in return. And if you do then you’re a sexist, misogynist and blah, blah, blah, blah.
Sound familiar? Of course it does.
Filipino women, however, grow up without very much in terms of money or physical possessions. That’s not a negative take on their country – it’s just a fact of life there. Life is hard, and people in the Philippines have to work hard to make a better life for themselves.
Her vision of a better life is having a guy she can rely on to be a good dad, work with her to provide for the family, and having a roof over your heads. Living in a far more prosperous Western country is just the icing on the cake.
What we’re trying to get at here is that Pinays are far less “work” than pretty much any Western woman you can think of. Your Filipino girlfriend has had to work very hard for everything she has, and then some.
Meeting Your Filipina For The First Time
This is where your budgeting and financial management skills are required. And your patience too.
Because it’s going to take time to find your perfect Pinay wife.
It’s not that you won’t have hundreds of women to choose from, but if you’re like most guys you only want to marry once and you want to get it right the first time around.
That means spending at least a few weeks getting to know a girl before you fly out there to meet her. That also means Skype calls a few times a week, emails, etc. This is your future bride you’re talking about..what do you mean that sounds like too much work?
When it’s time to actually meet Filipinas you have a few choices:
You can join most Filipino dating websites free of charge, but you get limited access. To get full access, you can expect to pay anywhere from $10 to $40 per month. Platinum accounts on some of these sites can cost $95 per month though, so be prepared for that.
Using a dating website to meet your future wife means actively filtering through hundreds of profiles. You need to be mercenary about this, dismissing any girl with a hard luck story, anyone hinting at wanting a gift, any girl who offers to “have fun” during your first chat, etc.
The sooner you remove the “Definitely nots” from your list, the sooner you can move on to the “Maybes” and then create a very short list of “She just might be the one” girls.
Using dating sites to meet Filipinas has the lowest cost of entry out of all the available options.
While this might sound like a load of guys turning up wearing long coats and dark glasses, romance tours are just part and parcel of the online/remote dating scene in the Philippines. Basically nobody will even ask why you’re on a romance tour because they’ve seen so many of them in the past.
Romance tours are organized by dating agencies, so you get to meet a lot of girls in the space of a few days. But that’s part of the problem – you’re kinda immersed into the local dating scene, and that can lead to some guys making knee jerk decisions based on very little knowledge or experience of a girl they’ve just met.
You will have to fly to the Philippines to take part in a romance tour, but these are usually package deals organized by the dating agency, so they do all the heavy lifting.
A 10-day romance tour will cost at least $2,995, but you may need to pay for your flight separately. So that means you can add an extra $1,000 to the tour price, for a total of around $4,000.
You also need to factor in that you might not meet the woman of your dreams on your first tour, for any of a number of reasons. You might need to budget for more than one tour per year to get the law of averages working in your favor.
Using a dedicated Philippines dating agency is another option, but it’s the most expensive route to take. You need to pay the agency a monthly retainer to help you find a Philippines bride. This is usually a reasonable amount, in the $50 – $100 per month range.
It can become stupidly expensive though when the agency starts charging you for every single message you send to the Filipina you’ve fallen for. The monthly membership fee can quickly spiral into several hundred dollars per month in “extra service fees”.
You could quite easily pay for a romance tour, or a direct holiday, to the Philippines for what many of these agencies charge you for a few months of contact with just a handful of women.
Your Own Philippines Adventure
The idea of flying to the Philippines and letting fate play its hand might seem like a good one, but there are a few things to take into consideration before you do this.
The first is that the Philippines is made up of over 7,000 different islands. Yes, Cupid might fire his arrow in the right direction, but the odds are stacked against you.
In fact, you could spend several months wandering around the islands of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and still be several hundred kilometers from the woman you’re actually looking for.
You’re basically looking for a needle buried somewhere inside 7,000 haystacks, and that’s a quick way to spend tens of thousands of dollars for little or no return.
That same money would be better invested in organizing a visa and flights to get your girlfriend to North America, Europe or Australia, and then start your life together.
Marrying A Filipina
Your end goal of traveling to the Philippines is to find your wife, and once your Filipina girlfriend knows you’re serious she’ll be quite happy to talk marriage with you.
But are there any specific regulations you need to be aware of if you decide to get married in the Philippines?
You are required, under Philippines law, to provide a “Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage” before getting married. You need to prove that there is no legal impediment to you getting married to a citizen of the Philippines i.e. you’re not already married. Your country’s embassy or consulate can provide you with more information on this.
Once you have the above certification, you then need to apply for a marriage license. There’s a 10-day waiting period for this, so shotgun marriages just aren’t possible.
If your Filipina is aged between 18 and 21 then you need a Letter of Consent from her parents – this is a legal requirement. If she’s aged between 22 and 25 then a Letter of Advice is required – this simply states that they know their daughter is about to get married.
Mail order bride “schemes” are frowned upon in the Philippines, which is why you need to meet the above requirements to get married in her home country.
The Philippines is one of the best places in the world to meet a beautiful woman who will share the same traditional values you have. Filipinas want all the same things you do, like kids and a bright future together.
Yes, there are costs involved in finding the foreign bride of your dreams, but how much is true love worth to you?
